“Our Future” has a statewide focus. An important partner for PSS in this initiative is Our Children’s Trust (OCT). OCT’s mission is to elevate the voice of youth to secure the right to a stable climate and healthy atmosphere for their future.
- OCT supports 21 youth plaintiffs who are taking the U.S. government to federal court, demanding science-based action on climate change.
- The Juliana trial will be held in an U.S. District Court in Eugene, Oregon, and is currently slated to begin on February 5, 2018.
In addition to work on specific projects chosen by the club at your school, PSS will offer “Our Future” participants multiple opportunities to connect their local efforts to ongoing work in support of this important case.
